Hi all, frstly i;d like to say something about all uk phone owners which have difficults using their phones, like freezing, no calls , power off by itself, these problems are because of tha companies(O2, 3, etc) that are changing the menu of the phones to personalize them and it seems on some models they are doing it wrong. i reccomend to buy free or carriers phones that came with the original menu versions, woithout any logos. I personally wned many phones and never had that kind of problems. Bought my NOKIA E51 free of carriers wothout any logo and never got freezed and worked wonderfully. This NOKIA E51 is a good phone, never got freezed in 3 months of use, using tom tom navigator is very easy and never got freezed, but now after 3 months its microphone got faulty. |

This Phone is worth Every penny, Even though it has a 2mp camera its sharpness produces a nice image. But the Video camera is rubbish. other than that the phone is amazing, fast Wifi internet, 3G. But the phone doesn't include 2 cameras, but can still make video calls. The phone is so smart and has a good battery life. i would recommend this phone as it is worth it |

A beautiful looking handset with a real solid feel to it. I love the very paractical shortcuts. Does get a bit hot after prolonged calls, but then thats good when the weather`s cold!! |

sold my 5610 and bought the E51. It was this one or the 6120 classic. It was wi-fi or video call. Since I rarely (2 in 3 months?) use video call when I own the 5610, I opt for wi-fi instead as I have a wi-fi router installed at my house. Now I can check my mail and IMing with one hand, on the bed :D Unlike other Nokia Symbian Phone, the response time is very good. I almost experience no delay between action, save for opening the phonebook. The bad part? the two function keys are very small for my hand. That's it. Oh and the sound of the music player and the built in speaker are pretty mediocre. I still miss the ergonomic feel of the 5610 from time to time, but the E51 is indeed very very good |

i've had my e51almost a week now and am mostly impressed. I upgraded from a 6300 that i totally loved and was loathe to give up. Symbian is better than expected - none of the instability i was expecting although youtube always freezes and can't get opera for symbian working properly . It has taken a bit of getting used to. I'm writing this using my handset on wireless which is fantastic and easy to set up. Biggest gripe is Orange as they block a lot of the phones functions (or never set them up correctly) and i have spent several hours on to customer services getting sim updates. Still can't access IM but am working on it. Handset is ok but not as nice build quality as the 6300 esp the keys which are plasticy and don't always register. Volume buttons on the side are way fiddly and almost impossible during a call. Loads of features though and great battery life considering all it does - i'm getting 2-3 days per charge and am online several hours a day. Wish the handset was as nice as the 6300 then i would give it 5 stars.

Upgraded to from the 5300 Music Phone to the Nokia N73 having been sucked in by the 3mp camera but hated the plastic feel and decided to swap for this. I'm sooooo glad I did and am really impressed with this phone. It's just so good at nearly everything. Switch on bluetooth with one touch or voice for example. The wireless LAN is useful as I can get on internet at home or hotspots without cost. It looks superb, is really comfortable to hold and the cameral and music player are good too. Top class business phone.

This is one of the most sophisticated mobile devices on the world market at the present time. One of the very best when taking into account its comprehensive range of features. A truly brilliant communications device with a superb browser thanks to the excellent Symbian S60 OS. This device is strongly recommended. Phenomenal value. Unless you require an advanced camera module or on-board sat-nav this smartphone may be all you need.i luckily got it.. |

hi!!!!!!! I've had the E51 for a while now, and this was my first smartphone. I find it to be so easy to use which is always handy. the call clarity and reception which are ultimatly the most important factor is great, and the keypad complete with the shortcuts work well. the camera is not the best, but as a business phone it cant really be faulted. Preloaded with acrobat and with wifi and a zip function its got most applications you will need with a huge memory plus memory card. a great compact smartphone

Nellie, i don't think the music player is poor. I totally agree that phone's music player does not live up to the w810i's however, this phone is an all-rounder so you need to take that into account. Okay, its not amazing but its not poor. I would say its okay. Btw what is your favourite feature of the phone? |

WHAT A PHONE. JAM PACKED WITH FEATURES!!! This is possibly one of the greatest Nokia's i have ever owned and i highly recommend it due to its robust feel and mainly because of its sleek look. I love it to bits. Simply awesome. Furthermore its user friendly like nokia's previous models and finally it has a decent camera and an a superb MP3 player which is the cherry on the top. Mindblowing... can't praise it enough. Also improved battery life compared to other nokias. WELL DONE NOKIA!! wooo hooo

have had mine for approx. a month now and I too went from the SE W810i to this Nokia. Tons of useful features and just as many not so useful features. The Symbian OS is truly smartware and aimed at the person who uses their phone to live by.It does take some time to learn to navigate the menues but once you do you are set. I have had no problems and really cant think of anything that would stop me from buying it again. If you need a smart phone that will connect anywhere this is it. Shorten it about 10mm and add a 3mp camera.

Had this phone for 3 weeks now. Swapped from my old Sony Ericsson W810i which I have owned for 2 years and LOVED. Initially i did not like this E51. The Symbian menu system was just too complicated, had so many menus and seemed slow compared to the user friendly w810i. However having now used this phone for a while it is starting to grow on me. Phsically it is a very smart phone (I have the white metal/chrome model). It is perfect weight in the hand, very slim and the buttons are perfectly spaced making it very usable. The WLAN function is fantastic and provides super fast internet access. It has just about every function under the sun and whilst the 2mp camera may not be up there with the N95 it serves a purpose which is good enough for me. The only gripes I have with this phone are - the headset is of pretty low quality - there is no text message counter, not that I have found anyway, only a message log - if anyway can correct me please do!) - when sending a message you cannot choose from a recent recipient list as per previous nokias and my trusted sony ericsson (again would like to be corrected on this if anyone knows how). Battery life seems to be pretty good. I am doing a lot of WLAN browsing at present which seems to hit it hard but once the novelty wears off i'm sure the battery life will be as good as Nokia say it is. Overall i give this phone 4 stars.
