Had this phone since stat of May 04 and like it very much. The texting bit takes some getting used to but its easy now and gets the words right more times than my old style predictive text! Phone has been reliable and I prefer a button to these touchscreen versions. I only use it for my email, text and ringing. I was not bothered about fancy cameras or music players (have those already!). Great little phone that does what it says on the box! Oh and had absolutaly no trouble in setting up the email accounts (I have 2 on it) via orange! Would recommend for anyone who wants their email, texting and phone and thats all in a phone that fits easily in their pocket
I have the blackberry 8120 pearl and think its ideal for college I have my emails there can put my work on my phone and use the internet plus its smaller and cuter especially in indigo so get one lol
The keyboard took a while to get used to but now it is just as easy to text on as a normal phone. Ive got the red one and it looks really kool! the menus are fab, everything you need is included in this phone, the wifi is really good had no problem linking with my home internet. Does anyone know how to download new themes the blue is a bit boring! on the whole i love the blackberry
the phone is very good but the life of the battery is very poor the email founshon is very gooood and mp3 sounds ace only they could do some thing about the battery
To nick in the UK have you tried to take the roller ball out and clean it, that should solve your problem. In case anyone wants to know, take a tooth pick and slide it up under the bottom edge of the roller ball above the number 2 and lift up that will release the ring and you can then get the roller out and use alcohol and qtip to clean the rollers and the ball. that will sole a lot of problems with the roller ball acting up
Great phone i love it took a while to get used to the keyboard but then it would appear it has for everyone else, my only probs are the setting tones for sms and ring tones still struggling at that, also some web pages such as u tube keep coming up as un supported which can be a tad annoying, email is great though it hasnt synced with my hotmail, i know sounds a bit negative but i have to admit it i wouldnt change it
Fantastic phone I have been using several smart phones, HP614c, Nokia N958GB, Samsung i620 all do the same sort of things but with issues! This phone is without doubt the most easiest and useful of them all, It does everything Good while the others do one thing good and everything else average, even the camera which I thought would be the weak link is exceptional for a phone this size! Buy it
